At the core of each unit is Everfilt’s patented TURBO SCREEN cartridge, which combines the strength of stainless steel wedge wire screen technology with a proprietary Turbulator—a built-in cleaning accelerator that optimizes automatic backwashing and prevents clogging.

Each STS-Series 'Turbo' Screen Filter is constructed from corrosion-resistant stainless steel and built to endure harsh operating environments. The housing features a ribbed design for enhanced collapse strength and easy-access enclosures for simplified maintenance. The filter cartridge itself is an all-welded 304SS unit (316SS and carbon steel options available) designed in-house to withstand deadhead conditions at full operating pressure, preventing blowouts and ensuring uninterrupted protection for downstream systems.
