National Hispanic Heritage Month: Celebrating Culture, Community, & the People Who Keep Things Moving

September 15 – October 15

At Everfilt®, we’re big believers in one simple idea: great things happen when people bring their experience, creativity, and different perspectives to the table.

That’s why National Hispanic Heritage Month is so important. From September 15 through October 15, communities across the country recognize the history, culture, traditions, and contributions of Hispanic and Latino Americans. It’s a month to celebrate where we’ve come from, recognize the people making an impact today, and appreciate the many cultures that help make our communities what they are. And honestly, there’s a lot to celebrate.

More Than a Month on the Calendar

National Hispanic Heritage Month is about much more than adding a celebration to the calendar. It’s an opportunity to learn about the people, stories, traditions, and accomplishments that have helped shape the United States.

The timing is meaningful, too. September 15 marks the independence anniversaries of Costa Rica, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, and Nicaragua. Mexico celebrates its independence on September 16, while Chile celebrates on September 18. Different countries. Different traditions. Different stories. One month that brings them into the spotlight.

Family, Hard Work, & Passing It Forward

If there’s one thing we appreciate at Everfilt®, it’s the value of experience. Our company has family roots in farming and irrigation, and that background eventually grew into a water filtration business. Since 1978, Everfilt® has been designing and manufacturing filtration solutions for agricultural, industrial, municipal, commercial, and other water applications.

That journey reminds us that building something meaningful takes time. It takes people willing to share what they know, learn something new, and keep improving along the way. Sound familiar? We think so. The same spirit of family, perseverance, innovation, and passing knowledge to the next generation can be found in communities everywhere.

Celebrating Contributions Across the Industry

Hispanic and Latino Americans have contributed to virtually every corner of American life, from agriculture and construction to engineering, manufacturing, entrepreneurship, science, and beyond.

At Everfilt®, we see how important people are to the industries we serve. Water filtration may involve pumps, tanks, screens, filters, and engineering specs, but behind every project are people solving problems and keeping businesses, farms, facilities, and communities moving. That’s something worth recognizing.

Water Has No Borders

Water connects us all. It supports our homes, farms, businesses, cities, and industries. Managing it responsibly requires collaboration, innovation, and people who are willing to tackle complex challenges. As a water filtration system manufacturer, Everfilt® is proud to play a small part in that bigger picture.

This Hispanic Heritage Month, we’re celebrating the people, cultures, traditions, and ideas that make our communities stronger. So, here’s to honoring the past, appreciating the present, and creating what comes next.

From all of us at Everfilt®, Happy National Hispanic Heritage Month!

Let’s keep learning, keep innovating, and, most importantly, keep moving forward together.
