Industry: U.S. Military Base
Requirement: Reclaim stormwater runoff stored in a lagoon to achieve water quality suitable for use as "grey water", for irrigation purposes.
Flow Range: 1,000 GPM
Special Factors: System needed to be able to handle high algae content.
Solution: An M-Series Sand Media Filter, model M48-36-12A, consisting of twelve (12) 48" diameter multi-media pressure filters, each with 36" high sidewalls and PLC controls, air media scour with compressor, injects air during water backwash, to optimize media cleaning and bed re-stratification following backwash.
